Laser Engraver
Yes, I know it's not a 3D Printer but it is very simular. Originally I had planned to build a CNC router to do custom printed circuit boards. Then I found out the cost of the bits and how quickly they wore out. So, since I already had a couple laser modules, I decided to do an engraver instead. The ...

Raspberry Pi to iCom IC-F121S interface
I created this to interface a Raspberry Pi (or similar board) to an Icom IC-F121S 2 meter commercial transciever for APRS. Audio out is coming from Pin 3 on the RJ-45 MIC jack. Normally it is not enabled and requires you short a solder pad on the main board. Pin 3 connects between the Audio pre-amp ...

Programming Cable for iCom IC-F121S and others
This radio requires programming software and a cable to set it up. It cannot be configured with the radio controls. The cable specified by iCom is OPC-1122. Rather expensive if purchased from icom though you can buy clones cheaper. It's easy, and a lot cheaper, to roll your own with a USB to 3.3v TT...

iCom IC-F121S
I purchased a couple iCom IC-F121S radios for use with APRS. These are commercial 8 channel programmable 2 meter transcievers. They are just a basic mobile radio so they're perfect for APRS and aren't very costly. This radio requires an OPC-1122 type programming cable. See How to make your own . ic-...
